UF college students help Clay County school
Thank you to a group of college students involved with the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) at the University of Florida for helping secure a donation to purchase additional prepacks of food for students in the Blessings program at Swimming Pen Elementary School.
This effort was led by Jasmine Crockett. Her mom, Charmaine Crockett serves on the First Coast Blessings in a Backpack Board.
The students worked with Crowe LLP to secure the donation to purchase the additional food bags for the students. The extra bags were distributed to the students in the Clay County school over their spring break last month. The college students also wrote notecards for the elementary students!
“We are very excited about working with Blessings in a Backpack and thankful to Crowe for helping us,” Jasmine said.
