Nease High Football Team Scores Big for First Coast Children

In an inspiring display of teamwork and community spirit, Nease High School’s senior football players organized a successful food drive for Blessings in a Backpack First Coast Chapter. Over the course of the drive, the dedicated athletes rallied their peers, families, and community, resulting in an impressive collection that allowed them to pack 101 backpacks filled with essential food items.

In addition to packing the bags, the players added a personal touch by writing heartfelt cards to include in each backpack. These thoughtful notes, filled with encouragement and support, reflected their commitment to making a difference in the lives of First Coast children.

Once the backpacks were filled, the team proudly delivered them to five schools in Jacksonville, Florida, ensuring that hundreds of students would receive the nourishment they needed for weekends when school meals were unavailable. Through their dedicated efforts, the Nease High football team demonstrated that the spirit of giving can truly play a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for those in need.
