A: Yes! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning that donations are 100% tax-deductible (less the value of goods and services received, if applicable). Our Tax ID # is 26-1964620.
Q: How do I update credit card information, change my monthly amount, or cancel my monthly donation?
A: Simply email Sydney DeLong and tell her how you want to change your monthly donation. If you need to update your credit card information, please call Sydney at (312) 366-2749. Do not send credit card information over email. You can also click here to create a new recurring monthly donation and we will cancel your old one.
A: Fill out the standard online donation form. Under the “How did you hear about us?” section there is a blank section for comments. Include the honoree of your gift. If you’d like someone to receive notice of your donation, include the contact person’s name and contact information. For example, “In memory of Buddy Backpack. Please send notice to the Backpack Family at 123 Blessings Rd., Jacksonville, FL 09876.”
Or, if donating by mail, please include the honoree information with your check.

A: All in, it costs $150 to feed a child on the weekends for an entire school year.
