8th Annual SOUPer Bowl Scores Big for Kids on the First Coast

The 8th Annual SOUPer Bowl was a night to remember, bringing the community together for an evening of delicious soups, generosity, and a shared commitment to fighting childhood hunger. Hosted on Feb. 6, 2025, the event raised an impressive $40,000—funds that will provide hunger-free weekends for children across the First Coast.

With over 140 attendees, the SOUPer Bowl continues to grow in both impact and participation, proving that good food and good company can fuel a great cause. Guests had the opportunity to sample an array of soups from talented local chefs, each competing for the coveted title of Best Soup of the night.

This year’s winner was Chef Amanda from Lakeview Health, who wowed attendees with her culinary creation and heartfelt message: “Food is love.” Her words resonated deeply, capturing the spirit of the evening and the mission of First Coast Blessings in a Backpack—ensuring that children have food to carry them through the weekends.
