PGA TOUR Memorial Tournament Volunteers Pack 800 Bags of Weekend Food

On Tuesday, March 10, the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide hosted a community engagement event with the PGA TOUR Volunteer Appreciation Program sponsored by Myrbetriq® (mirabegron).

Volunteer team leads for the tournament packed 800 bags of weekend food! Kids served by golfer Jason Day’s Brighter Days Foundation Blessings in a Backpack program in Columbus, Ohio, will take home the bags of food.

“Volunteerism is the backbone of our mission, and we couldn’t do this without each and every person involved,” said Brooke Wiseman, CEO of Blessings in a Backpack. “Beyond improving the health and well-being of children-in-need, every backpack lets these kids know that someone cares about them… and that is a priceless gift.”
